Wickhams Group are a dynamic and growing business in the Transport, agriculture, property and manufacturing sectors. With operations expanding and commitment to efficiency and service, we're looking for a dedicated Admin-Accounts Assistant to support our farms team.
The role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, working across a range of accounting function and gain exposure to various aspects of the business.
This role is part time (25-30 hours) and based in Killarney QLD (20 mins travel time from Warwick).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of reconciliations including bank, petty cash, and general ledger.
Manage daily receipting and Pronto debtor's follow-up and AR collections
Maintain and update cash reporting to reflect actual movements
Conduct three-way reconciliations across the plant register, fixed asset register and insurance register
Support timely month-end and year-end processes
Provide general support across finance functions and assist with ad hoc duties as required
Desired Skills and Experience

Tertiary Qualifications and/or a minimum of three years of accounting experience/ knowledge
Computer skills with ability to operate all MS Office Application with intermediate to advance excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with Corporate and Front Line Managers.
Operational understanding of the Agricultural industry.
Strong Accounting knowledge and experience working in multi-company businesses.
Clear problem solver, proven ability to apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems, their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, including high attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting software such as Pronto
