Job Description
Wickham Freight Lines is seeking a Forklift Driver - Warehouse Assistant and a Washbay Attendant / Yard Hand to join our team at the WFL Sydney Depot. These are permanent, full-time positions in the Logistics, Supply & Transport category and offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for the Trucking Industry. Both roles will play a crucial part ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Sydney Depot.
1. Forklift Driver - Warehouse Assistant responsibilities will include:
Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks till depot close at the end of each day
Assisting with general warehouse when needed
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Work hours will be between 9/10am start till close 6/7pm at night
Valid forklift license
Prior experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
2. Washbay Attendant / Yard Hand responsibilities will include:
Wash trailers and trucks
Ensuring our depot is clean and tidy
Control Temperature of freight when suitable
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
