Wickham Freight Lines is seeking and experience and technically skilled Kenworth Spare Parts Advisor to join our Spare Parts Team.
This role is ideal for someone that has worked as a mechanic, worked within a dealership, or has exceptional knowledge of Kenworth parts and is confident in the ability to provide technical support to our workshop mechanics and spare parts team. Our fleet predominantly consists of Kenworth inventory however we have other brands and trailers in our fleet.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibility will be to ensure the accurate identification and timely availability of required parts for workshop personnel. You will collaborate closely with internal team members and external suppliers to deliver prompt and efficient service, contributing to the overall productivity and effectiveness of our workshop.
You will be responsible for:
Providing Kenworth and other brands of trucks and trailers technical assistance and ensure timely and accurate parts supply to workshop personnel
Perform stock control, stocktakes, and inventory allocation
Order parts, liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing
Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Answer phones, respond to enquiries, and support parts interpretation
Collaborate with the Procurement Manager on parts planning and prioritisation

Previous parts service advisor experience in a dealership, mechanical or transport environment
Demonstrated ability to provide technical support
